A Good Gift For My Girlfriend?

My girlfriend has PCOS and it’s led to her having quite a bit of dark hair on her neck and stomach. I know it bothers her, she’s constantly using those hair removal creams.
It’s her birthday in a few weeks, and I’ve been reading about this:
Does it seem like a good gift for a man to give his girlfriend? I don’t want her to take it the wrong way, if she didn’t remove the hair anyway I wouldn’t even be thinking about it…

i wouldnt get her that…or atleast only that. she may think your trying to say you dont like it and want her to get rid of it too. kind of like she embarrasses you.

you can get her that but i would say get her something more romantic like a neckalace, stuffed animal, make her a card, a picture collage of you guys, gift card to a store she likes, tickets to a concert, take her out somewhere or get her perfume

She might not take that too well and probably be embarressed about it! If you’re really close to her then maybe bring up the subject next time she uses the cream. Casually say something like ‘you must get fed up with creams, is there nothing easier you could use?’ Then maybe say ‘what are those epilater things, are they any good? Let me buy you one to try’ .. Then take it from there 🙂

For me it is good, it’s being thoughtful really! But if you want an alternative, try looking for some hair removal treatments online from spa or clinics. Sometimes they have gift certificates 🙂

Well it’s a great idea but she may take offence and feel you’ve given her the gift as you have an issue with her excess hair. I also have PCOS and probably would like a gift like that. I’ve had Laser Hair Removal and was very pleased with the results.
It’s a difficult one and really depends how close and comfortable you are together. Perhaps you should just ask her what she wants. Surprises are nice, but I always like to be asked what I’d like and am always happy to receive something I want even though I know what it will be.
