16)The coverage for the previous insurance policy expired and Goochland decided to purchase a two-year policy from a differebt insurance. Gladhands insurance. Goochland paid a total of $30,000 for two years of coverage.
12)Bibby company unexpectedly pays $6,320 past-due in its account that was previously written off. The first entry is to reestablish the receivable.
9)Wrote of a $6,320 balance due to accounts receivable from bibby. Company as being uncollectible.
10)Purchased on account 300,000 merchandise inventory held for resale. All purchases are recorded net of 2% discount offered by the vendor. Any discounts not eventually taken by the firm are recognized as interest expense. Shipping costs of $880 were paid by the seller
