Am I The Only One Who Hates Shopping In Marks and Spencer?

Went to my local Marks and Spencer for a pair of slacks.
As usual, they did not have my size, which is a very regular one.
Said that they were not available to order, but they did have them in two distant branches.
Problem was I would have to make my own way to the branches as they do not do transfers between shops!
That kind of service was not acceptable in 1910, never mind 2010.
And they moan when profits are down!
Save me from this shop.
Please!

They probably want to discourage people who use the word ‘slacks’!!

First of all, congrats for being quite possibly the only person in the world who gets het up about slacks 😀 Secondly yes that store is soooo stressful I went in there and got lost in the bra section for a good ten minutes in London and the queue for the cafe is ridiculously long and you think oh but its totally fine itll be worth it and the only thing they have left to eat….egg and cress sandwiches. Okay granted I actually like egg and cress sandwiches, but theyre not for everyone! What if you’re allergic to cress?! I would like to hear Marks and Spencers answer to that one.

I think the only times that I’ve ever shopped in Marks & Spencer’s was when I was younger and my mum bought my clothes. I do still pay regular trips to the Food section though! Marks and Spark’s is only good if you’re of a certain age, although where I live, 80% of the population is 70+, and so all I really have is M&S!
