Are A Book Voucher And Higher One Card The Same Thing?

I am using my book voucher for books and wondering why there sending me a higher one card. Is it so I can use the card to get books on a cheaper site? And is that payment a once a year thing or only once ever. First time college student and curious. Also having a book voucher means you have money left over so, means your whole class is paid for?

No. The book voucher is to get textbooks from the bookstore when the semester starts and financial aid has not be disbursed yet. The Higher One card is what is used by some schools now to disburse financial aid.
