    Not really any genuine bargains, but try markets like Camden or petticoat lane.

    N.b. Primark is low quality robust made by child labour in the far east, not really a bargain

    For cheap clothing – but not usually OS – go to Primark, also jewellery and shoes. They have their biggest outlet in Oxford Street I believe. Otherwise the street markets you can find anywhere in London, such as Portobello Road.

    Where possible, avoid buying such as shoes and clothing and bags from street market traders. Honest they may be, but they may not be there next week when you return with the duff thing you purchased, still clutching a useless receipt.
