i brought a treadmill from an offical place on ebay. if they deliver it and im not in , will they leave it at like the post office

    They will probably leave a card through your door and ask you to arrange delivery at a time when you can be in,if its royal mail you can arrange re delivery on line,the details will be on the card. Post offices can only keep parcels up to a certain weight,you have to ask for it to be taken to your local post office,it costs you £1.50 to collect it from there.

    That really depends on who is delivering it. The post office would probably try to leave it with a neighbour (unless it is recorded). Otherwise, they would take it to the sorting office, or a post office (it depends).

    Other couriers will do different things, depending on how they operate. For a big item it’s best to be in.

    If you are not at home, they will leave it with a neighbour for you to collect.
