I’m pretty inexperienced with hardware when it comes to mobos, and i havnt a clue what will happen when i add a fairly good gpu to a cheapo £40 mobo. here a link to my gpu and mobo.

Should be fine! You should only be concerned with PCI-e compatibility and your power supply having enough power! PCI-e looks good, your motherboard has PCI Express 1.0 x16slot (verison 1) while card needs PCI Express 2.0 x16. It should be backward compatible with PCI Express 1.0, i’m 99% sure.
Just Make sure your Power Supply is at least 400Watt (I’d recommend 500W, no less).

Yes they are compatible but dont get that GPU. It is a waste of money. Your mobo will bottleneck the bus speed. So get something with pcie 1.0 or get a cheaper 2.0 GPU
