No. Here is a quote from Amazon.co.uk, link provided below:
"We accept Visa, Delta, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Eurocard, American Express, Maestro, Solo, cheques or postal orders (denominated in Pounds Sterling) and Amazon.co.uk gift certificates as payment."

Additionally, here is a quote from amazon.com:
"We do not currently accept international wire transfers, PayPal, or Smart Cards. For grocery purchases, we are unable to apply manufacturer’s coupons, food stamps, or any other payment method not listed above."

It amazes me how someone can put out an answer as if they were some expert and the answer is so blatantly wrong.

Yes it can… It’s the most preferred method to pay online because it’s been proved to be one of the safest transactions types. I recommend you sign up for the Paypal Debit card if you’re unsure about future purchases. You use it just like any other credit/debit card, and all transactions still appear on your Paypal account. Also you can withdraw from practically any ATM, and you get 1.5% – 5% cash back when you use it.

As Bob states Amazon.co.uk do not in any way accept paypal payment. They accept credit and debit cards, postal orders and cheques only.
