Can Vodafone or any other provider actually offer discount on iphone 5 upfront cost?

The new contract im looking at is £33 a month and £149 upfront cost .

i just called them, they couldnt give me a deal and told me she could disconnect me now, not even offereing any sort of discount or anything to keep me there! I have been with vodafone for years and frankly i am quite annoyed at how they are not assed about their ‘valued’ customers leaving!!!

im wondering how to get any sort of deal on my new contract? do apple really fix the prices so they cannot be discounted?

  1. Lo says:

Unfortunately with the handset being a premium handset you will be hard pushed to find any phone company whether long standing customer or not give you a discount on the up front cost of an iPhone 5.

If that’s the phone you want you’ll need to pay the price for it, I’m afraid.

Apple set the prices at which the handset can be purchased by the network. The higher Apples price, the higher the networks price.
