Can You Help Me Rephrase This Parragraph?

Hi all! Please have a quick read at the following parragraph I wrote for a job aplication and tell me what should be changed. Thanks and 10 points for the best!
“When I was working as a Sales Consultant for Leroy Merlin, we had a new range of gardening tools that were hard to sell as it was winter and no one was buying gardening products. I saw a customer having a look at the seeds, she seemed to be a bit confused, so I asked her if I could help. She told me that she wanted to enhance her garden by planting some flowers but she wasn’t sure what flowers to plant. I started asking her open questions like what type of flowers do you currently have? and as the conversation went on, I found out exactly what she needed. Initially she was only looking for seeds but then she ended up buying a rowel, a weed fork and the whole set of tools. She was very happy with her purchase as the set of tools was on offer and thankful for the assistance.”

While working as a Sales Consultant at Leroy Merlin, I succeeded in selling set of slow moving gardening tools to a customer who was just having a look at the seeds, and seemed to be a bit confused. I offered her my assistance and found that she was looking for ways to enhance her garden by planting some flowers. I was able to zero in on her needs and as a result of my positive suggestions, she ended up buying a trowel, a weed fork and the whole set of tools. She was extremely glad after the purchase and grateful for the assistance. This was during winter time when few people buy gardening products.

“As a sales consultant for Leroy Merlin, I was especially able at finding out the real needs of customers, and linking them to slow-selling products.”
