It is possible to make a lot of money at car boot sales but only if you are prepared to get up at 4am to ensure you get a good pitch and are near the toilets etc! I have done boot sales but because of the overwhelming presence of eastern Europeans and other foreign nationals, I decided not to continue. They always want something for nothing or (as happened to me) they steal goods from your stall. I was followed home by two Nigerians who wanted something from my stall but they only wanted to pay half what I was asking, luckily my husband was in and they drove off.
If you are sure you want to do a boot sale then make sure all the clothes are clean and pressed and hung up on rails. Toys will sell well at this time of the year especially if they are in good, clean condition. I don’t think you will get much for golf clubs unless they are a matching set in fair condition. Have a price in mind for your items and be prepared to lower it for that all important sale, although don’t let it go for peanuts!
    Good luck.

it depends on what condition things are in to how you price them, i watch a programme called car booty you can find it on uk style on sky that will give you loads of ideas.

biggest tip i can give you is,
sell your junk to all the other car booters hounding u as you set up ( they are looking for a bargain to sell on their stall) and are ready to rip u off. if your lucky offer it as a lot for £100
then dissapear before they come round to collect ur tenner.

their now you have saved time & money & got rid of your junk.
