Think about it. Sales means that you will be expected to sell to customers, customer service is ……well, serving customers!

If you want stock and warehouse/back room work, this is not the job for you. But- with the winter holidays comijg up, they will need back room people, so apply and make it clear on your application that this is what you want.

The best thing to do is to walk into your local store and ask about jobs, then you’ll know if back room work is available.

Possibly, though most customer service in large or specialty stores happens on the shop floor. When you are getting interviewed they will ask you what area of the store you would like to work in, tell them store replenishment.
