How can i connect multiple media devices to one pc monitor?

I want to be able to connect my PC and Xbox games console to my flat screen monitor, but i’m not sure what i require to do this. I would like to be able to have them all connected at the same time, but only showing on the monitor when selected.

I’m thinking this is what i need, but i’m not too sure.

And another thing, is it at all possible to watch freeview tv through a PC monitor via a PC? I believe it needs a pc tuner card?

your pc should have a vga connection or hdmi… your xbox you can get a cable to go to vga… so look for a vga selector… computer shops should have those… something like four vga inputs but one output…
