How common it would be in the UK for a sales clerk at a fuel station to act rude to customers?

how sales clerks act rude or not to customers and how do you react when happens?

for example..how common a sales clerk…after asking if their register is open in a polite way…they throw down what they are doing and look at you and say sarcastically .."yes! can i help you?"

is this more common in the USA maybe and why?

please explain what you can..why the differnce maybe? and which parts of the UK have such?

thanks for your answers!

Most people who work in petrol stations in the UK don’t have huge grasp of the English language, but they are certainly not rude.

  2. verstile says:
