How do i prove where i stand legally with a faulty product bought online that is less than 6 months old?

I bought some official apple earphones from amazon.co.uk ( a business seller on the site ) which have become faulty. the item is less than 6 months of age and i know about my statutory rights for a replacement. I have had a chain of e-mails with the seller and they are asking for me to send them a link to some pages with proof of this law.

Any one got any ideas where i can find the necessary information?

Thanks, aaron.

Also check the Distance Selling Regulations and, if necessary, contact the Trading Standards office that’s local to the seller. They’ll give you information on where to find the details of the Sale of Goods Act.
