How do you calculate percentage change in sales revenue?

Sales Revenue – 2007: £230,000,000 2006: £200,000,000
Calculate the percentage change in sales Revenue

Any help? What is the formula as well?

    percent changes in sales revenue in 2007 between 2006 and 2007 can be calculated by using this formula

    ((revenue 2007 – revenue 2006)/revenue 2006)/100

    using the formula above, the difference in value is 230,000,000 – 200,000,000 = 30,000,000

    so the percentage change is

    (30,000,000/200,000,000)/100 = 15%

    so the percentage change in sales revenue is 15%
