How do you create an auto sum on excel to add on a sales percentage to the original price?

For example adding on 36% (sales percentage) to 47p (original prince)

=SUM ????????

    I checked this on MS Words spreadsheet before posting it.

    For my example, and this is to have you test it, and make sure it works:

    The original price is $100
    The sales tax is 35%

    =sum 100 + (100*.35)

    If you have the purchase price in A2 for example and the sales tax is B2: (Make sure your tax percentage is .36 rather then 36%)

    =A2+(A2*B2)

    try this formula

    = original value * ( 1 + percentage)

    so, lets assume that the original value is in A1 and the percentage is in A2

    Em A3 que put the formula

    = a1 * ( 1 + a2)

    Remenber to type the percentage in a2 with the % sign
