How To Connect Old Home Cinema System To New Hdtv Or Blu-ray Player?

i have a sony home cinema system and the cables that connect it to the dvd player are ones with just 2 split ends with colored tape, http://www.amazon.co.uk/Genuine-Samsung-Cinema-Speaker-Cable/dp/B00545UJNY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1366319445&sr=8-2&keywords=sony+home+cinema+cable, just like these ines on amazon. i wanted to know how to connect them to my panasonic viera tv or my sony blu ray player. will i have to buy a adapter or some thing like that?

    You certainly don’t connect them with speaker wires.

    you need to buy an adaptor that on one end has the red and white prong things like on any dvd player and on the other end has a prong like on the end of headphones.. you need to plug the white and red plugs into the OUTPUT section on your tv/blueray, then connect the headphone thing into your amp/subwoofer or whatever connects your speakers, then set the amp to the right cfhannel and there you go…
