I Bought Some Fish Oil Capsules That Have Not Expired, But They Have Turned Brown And Are Gummy.?

They are shiny and smooth like usual. They don’t smell any different, but they look like they got hot before they were put on the shelf for sale. Should I take them back?

  1. She eats people says:

    Yeah, I would.

  2. *Blush* says:

Yes, just in case. Return them for a new bottle

  3. Quincy says:

Yes take them back. I wouldn’t risk taking them.

  4. La Finita says:

If they are enteric coated, that texture is the way they are, but the discoloration suggests a problem. Return for a refund. Place on counter and state what you wish. There shouldn’t be a problem. Another method, if you don’t wish the trip, is to call the 800 number on the bottle and speak to a representative.
