I couldn't produce the relevant document on discount ticket for travelling on train. I paid the fine on s?

I bought the wrong discount tarin ticket and was fined on the station when i got off the train. I failed to show the relevant document( I think that was some Red card discount for soldiers). I paid the fine of my entire journey. Will that appear on CRB ?

You didn’t pay a fine, you paid the full fare for your journey which it is the policy to charge passengers who do not have a valid ticket. You weren’t evading the fare. Btw it is a criminal offence to attempt to evade paying a fare and had it come to court and you had been convicted, you would have had a record. Fortunately you paid up as soon as you realised your mistake and that didn’t happen. So no CRB.

No, not at all. You haven’t actually broken the law, or committed a crime. You actually had a ticket defect, where by your ticket wasn’t valid. Therefore, they charge you extra (the fine) and it’s all done with. If you had refused to pay the fine then you would be breaking the law, but even that wouldn’t appear on CRB because it would be a civil issue.
