I Got A Speeding Ticket. Help/advice?

I’ve been driving for i believe 2 years and this is my first offense. I was going 40 in a 25 area and I was in Birmingham, Michigan (cops are always out to get you there). He wrote me a Citation saying i was going 30 in a 25 though becuz it was my first offense. I’m gonna call the court today and get a court date. I don’t want to get points on my record and i dont want my insurance rates to go up. What can I do to prevent both?

the good news is, you are eligible for traffic school. soon as you get the notice in the mail, and confirm that you are qualified for traffic school. pay the ticket and choose to take the traffic school option. this will prevent your insurance from going up. as long as you don’t get anymore tickets.
did my traffic school online with gototrafficschool.com and used discount code: X2K-7CF-4F5 and saved. For the finals, search for traffic school answers 2012 you’ll find a reviewer.

you should wait and go to your court hearing for my first speeding ticket i went to court and they dropped the charges to a non moving violation which doesn’t show on your record, they did the same for my 2nd offense so you should be fine just gotta pay for the violation, if you pay them before the court date it will show on your record hope this helps

I believe there is nothing you can do.
Please slow down in future and stop blaming the cops for doing their job.
