I have a 60L biorb and want to replace the filter with a sponge filter?

I want to put a internal sponge filter in instead of using the Biorb filtration system because its awful!

What do I need to do?

Wont I need to cycle my tank all over again? Do I just buy the Filter and put it straight in the tank?

This is the one I want-

Is it suitable and will it also oxygenate the water?
