I Need Help Building My First Computer.?

Hey, i have recently decided to build my own computer for the first time. I have most of the components apart from the PSU. This is because i’m unsure on how to work out the power needed for my system. First of all, these are the current products I am after:

I am going to be using the CD/DVD drive from my current computer as i don’t need anything like a blue-ray drive for what i do.
Also, for what i do, i don’t really need a sound card for what i use my computer for, for in the future i may think of upgrading to one.
Before i go any further, i may have found a problem already but whether it matters i don’t know. when Goggling my motherboard, it says, “All PCI Express slots conform to PCI Express 2.0 standard,” quoted from the gigabyte website. But on the AMD website it says it’s “Armed with the new PCI Express 3.0 standard.” Is this a problem?
So, how would i go about working out how big the PSU needs to be for the system i want? and what would you guys recomend having? If you find any other problems with the components i have chosen then feel free to give any feedback/constructive critisism.
thanks for your time,
Dan
