If I Buy A House In A Tax Sale And The Owner Had A Mortgage Will They Come After Me For The Balance?

I buy a lot of homes under a repository free and clear sale, I am interested in going to a regular tax sale where the chance is high that there is a morgage on the property. What I want to know is if there is a mortgage owed on this property will I have a judgement placed against me or the property. There is a mortgage on one I am interested in bidding on in this next tax sale but I dont want someone elses debt on my credit. But have no problem with a lein on the property itself.

depends what country u live in.
even in USA , depends where u live.
normally Tax Authority over rides ALL other liens.

RE tax sales cause any mortgage debt to be removed
