Is neutral feedback on a seller justified if I got pinched by the item?

I gave reasonable stars, I’m not vindictive. But it hurt! And the Marks and Spencer equivalent doesn’t do it. It’s a multi-tool with pliers.

Unless it’s a fault with the item (ie doing something it’s not meant to do), the packaging, how the seller acted (responses ect), or so on then then you shouldn’t hold the seller responsible and it shouldn’t affect the feedback.

It sounds like it was just you who caused the pinching, although it was most likely by accident, it’s not really justified you hold them responsible by reducing their feedback received.

    Use more words.

No, its not. That didn’t happen because the seller didn’t give you good service or made a mistake or misrepresented the item, it occurred because you weren’t careful enough. Unless its something which is actually the sellers fault, you should give them positive feedback.
