ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) PETER ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) Y U NO HAVE CALCULATOR WIT U? ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

19000

x. .5

he’ll get £9,500

5/100 ( five over 100) = 0.05

19000 x 0.05 = 950

so he’d receive £950 commission

Is this like a test or something? Last time u asked that if u flip a coin150 times and land on heads 60% thingy

5% is the same as 5/100 which is the same as multiplying by 0.05.

If you don’t have a calculator we can find 1% (which is 1/100 or 0.01) of the number and multiply that by 5.

1% of 19000 = 190. Times by 5 = £950.

100% < ----------------->£19 000

10%< -------------------> £1900

5%< --------------------->£ 950

If your trying to find the total amount he received then £19000*1.05=19950 as your trying to find 105%

If your trying to find the 5% commision then 19000/100=190*5=950

Quick way to work out 5% is to work out 10% which is 1900 then half it £950.

If you were using a calculater you would divide 19000 by 100 then times by 5
