Statistics Question On Binomial Distribution Probability?

Teacher says: A salesperson makes 11 calls on prospects with a probability of 0.4 that he or she makes a sale (binomial distribution), then E (X)=? Professor gives answer as 4.4. I’ve been on this for hours now. How do I get that answer? Can I do on TI-83 Plus calculator?
