Taxation – Is Cash From Survey Website Need To Be Taxed?

There are websites that earn points by reading ads, doing surveys and playing games. You can cash out points or exchange for shopping vouchers. It is only small amount of money. Similar to frequent flyer, but frequent flyer does not have the option to exchange for cash. Does such cash and vouchers need to be taxed in Australia?

    Don’t worry about this.
You would be lucky to earn about 10 after working a full year part time.

  2. Quick Answers says:

    Of course it does.
Frequent Flyer points are considered a rebate on the original travel, so are not taxed unless you sell them to someone else.
