Was This A Smart Move? (bumper Repair)?

I just bought a used car from a toyota dealership. This is my first time buying a car. It’s a 2009 Corolla LE, ~75000km, with a 1 to 1.5 inch crack on the front bumper. They want to charge me for over 15400 Canadian dollars. The salesman suggested that I make an offer of 14500 Canadian dollars, but I said 14000 the first time, the salesman came back and said the manager was only willing to give me 350 dollars off. I said fine, I will take that offer; however, I want the bumper to be fixed. The salesman said “no, the manager is not going to say yes”, so I said “find then I will pay the full price, but still I want the cracked bumper to be fixed.” He went back to the manager’s office and when he came back to me, he said the manager has accepted it.
Did I totally screw up there? My friends have all been laughing at me for paying that price. How much is it to fix the bumper with a 1 to 1.5 inch crack? Is it going to be cheaper than 350 dollars, which is the discount the manager offered me after my first offer?
