Parts of medicare should be on a voucher plan. Do you know if your doctor prescribes a wheelchair for your needy grandma, medicare will be charged an outrageous amount monthly? I would not allow that to happen. The medicare supplier was going to charge medicare $50 a month for a chair I was able to purchase on line for $99.00 (no S&H). I would have loved to have had a voucher for that instead of the govt getting ripped off. Now multiply the amount of elderly out there that could not afford the $99.00 as I could and have no choice but to let these stores rip off the govt. Some vouchers would be a good thing.
