What happens if someone claims to be on job seekers for college discount when they aren't?

If someone wanted to get a discount on a college course by claiming to be on job seekers. Showing bank statements from previous month with credits from job seekers and housing benefit. They finished two months previously would they get the discount? And, would they if found were found out what would they have to do?

I suppose the college would like to see a recent payment. They probably want a letter from the JobCentre certifying you are in receipt of JSA.

Depends how rigorous the college admin dept. is , they should ask for up-to-date proof…but they may not, if this is found out later I expect the person will be expelled
