What Is The Age For Applying For Credit Card? (and More)?

What are the pros and cons of different credit cards, and what suits me? I’m 17 and I’m working at my dad’s business.

Minimum age is 18. Choose a card that suits your needs. If you’re not going to pay it off in full every month (which you really should try to do) go for a low interest rate. Otherwise there are reward cards that reward you for spending, e.g. with cashback, airmiles, shopping vouchers. Take a look at some financial comparison sites to see what’s available

you have to be 21 in most all cases to have a CC with out a cosigner. smart thing is for dad to add you when you are 18 but never give you the card you build credit but no risk to him
at 22 when you have a at least 18 months work and over 18K income get your own card

When you turn 18, open a checking account in your name only. Then work on getting a savings account together. Then… you get credit cards.
