What kind of children's books would you recommend for a 2 year old?

My daughter is now 2 year old and i have lots of story books for her but what other kind of books would you recommend for a 2 year old.

I usually get my books from an author called C. L. Thornton, this person has lots of different books for children from colouring books to story books to activity/learning books but i am not sure what books i should be getting for my daughter (2 year old).

When i was about two or three my mum&dad got me a ‘leapad’ there so cheap to buy now, and they read to you, and you can play so many mini games that taught me how to count and basic colours and animals! Some kids on my train have a iggle piggle ones and i can hear them doing the same thing as my oooold one, buy i would suggest them! More fun!

Simple storys with lots of interactive pictures or pop outs. Garage sales have many good ones! Or Barns and Nobles.

Color books. Books wich include more colourful pictures than text.

At this time your child is becoming a toddler so their brain is developing more, this is the time where you need to find books that are evened with pictures and words, but the book shouldn’t be a very long book because toddlers move interest to other objects fast.

I myself like Dr. Suess books children love rhyming. The little old lady who swallowed a fly. Goodnight moon, and books on movement, that you can add songs and let the child move around directly after the story. Books about Mom, my mom can do it, Do you know my Mom, etc.
