What Program To Use For Marketing?

I’m looking to market my business, i.e. brochures, postcards, email, flyers, booklets, etc… I have a lot of cash flow and there has been basically no marketing done to push sales.
What program should I be using? I’ve been using Microsoft Publisher, but I’m sure there’s something out there which is better in quality. Anyone with a few ideas for better alternatives? (I would send the file to be professional printed, etc)
Note that I am very tech savvy, so whatever you recommend, I should be able to handle.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

If your happy with the results of the tool why change it, I would assume the Adobe tools are a cut above, the effectiveness of the design choices might be the more important issue. Odds are if you did become bigger success that creative work might be handed over to a specialist anyway. You can find outsource designers on freelance marketplaces like elance.com, odesk.com or vworker.com, maybe go budget using Fiverr.com or run a “design contest” in which multiple professionals provide design mockups at 99designs.com.
Some Internet marketers have made significant improvements in sales after making minor adjustments of their sales page design. If you are able to measure the conversion rate your marketing campaigns you would have the opportunity to A-B compare your designs with a hired specialists work.
