What SD card should I use with my camera?

I have a Panasonic Lunix TZ7 camera which I will be taking with me to a concert on the 20th and I want to record some videos.

It’s a HD camera (720p) and I’m not sure which memory card would be best. I can only go up to a 16gb card as I can’t afford a bigger one.

I found this one

Would that be ok?

the reference below indiactes your camera can support SDHC cards, but doesn’t specify the upper limit.
Generally speaking you want the fastest and largest card, especially if you are considering taking video.

The PDF below indicates that the camera can use at least 32GB cards

The Wikipeida page explains the speed rating of SD cards

Class 6 is good, Class 10 is better (around 66% faster). the card on fleabay seems competitively priced, compared to the place I’ve usually found to be best on price. but class 6 is probably perfectly acceptable for the camera.

only word of caution I’d have is that using a still camera to record video can murder the batteries, meaning you will very very quickly use up the available power. so if you are thinking of using video practice first and get an idea of how long the battery will last when using video BEFORE going to an event so you dont’ run out of power when you really really need it.

Sandisk is a good brand, never had problems with one.
I have had 2 cheap "Brand X" cards go odd in use, fortunately not losing anything important
