What to prepare for a sales interview?

Hi. I have a sales/marketing interview (Assessment day), and I have been asked to prepare a 3min presentation on:
"Why I should be hired for a sales career?"

Any ideas on what I can say that would stand out. They said they dont want me to repeat whats already on my CV.

Thanks!

The sales basics…..present the features and benefits to them for hiring you. What do you bring to the table? How can you make a difference in the business? What have done in the past that can prove why you should be hired? Keep it simple. Have a good opener to catch their attention, and be sure to close them on why they should hire you. A basic presentation also should be along these lines…..tell them what you are going to tell the, tell them and then tell them what you told them…….obviously without using the same exact words. Good Luck!

Talk about your strong points-Do you have good customer service skills? Phone skills? Closing skills? Just be yourself on the interview but highlight your best qualities and maybe share a story about how you stood out on your last sales job and the quotas you met (if you have been in sales before)
