What’s A Good First Job For A Teenager?

I’m 16, and I’m going job hunting tomorrow. Here are the places I’m interested in:
Petco (I’m an aquarist and I’ll save money on food and supplies)
PetSmart (I’m an aquarist and I’ll save money on food and supplies)
Barnes & Noble (I read a lot, and I love the atmosphere)
Burger King (Cliché first job I guess)
Target (Eh, why not?)
H&M (I shop there)
Journey’s (Save money on shoes, ya dig?)
Chick-Fil-A (watery mouth…can’t speak)
Rita’s Italian Ice (Another cliché first job)
Giant (My aunt works there so I could get rides to and from work)
And there’s a perfume gallery in the mall I might like to work there because the perfumes there (Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana, Bijan) are expensive and employees get big discounts.
So what do you think sounds best? I’m applying for all of these and I’ll decide once I get responses back and see if they’re hiring me
thanks! :*

I work at Barnes and Noble, I think you would love it! My first job was at Chick-Fil-A and I hated it, i even cried every now and then. However, if you’re looking for a first job I recommend that, then once you’ve built some experience you can start applying at other places

Don’t work fast food…it’s miserable and you get paid like $8

The job market isn’t begging for applicants. You wont be ‘deciding’. You will be praying that one actually calls.

Petco or Petsmart sound like good options.

Go Petco or PetSmart! Both seem like super places to have your first job.
If those don’t work, I’d go to Giant. I don’t know what that is, but it’s a free ride

Just to let you know since you’re only 16, you’re not gonna get any of those jobs. I’m almost 18 and have been turned down by every place I applied to because I’m not yet 18. SO anyway, I suggest being a cashier at some grocery store. They might accept you.
Yeah whatever, thumbs me down, but you’ll be sadly disappointed when you go out there and find nothing.

don’t work at fast food, its seriously stressful, I currently am and am looking for another job :/ I get paid like 8$, about 250 every 2 weeks, but I want to cry every time before I go. I do it for the money though

Burger King because then you can be stuffing your face in burgers all day

Don’t work at PetSmart. I’m warning you, they have a freezer in the back room where they keep animals who pass away in the store (or arrive dead from a shipment) like hamsters, gerbils, ferrets, birds etc. I’m 100% serious. I had a friend who worked there. I’d be leary of PetCo too for the same reason.
Barnes and Noble sounds the most appealing.
