Will Amazon.co.uk sell PS4 games to people that's under 18 if the game says '18' on it?

I recently purchased a PS4 from Amazon.co.uk with Watch Dogs, Battlefield 4, FIFA 14 and an extra DualShock 4 Controller..but Battlefield 4 and Watch Dogs is ’18 rated games’ but will Amazon.co.uk know that I am under 18? When they ask my bank for authorisation before dispatch, or when they ask my bank to take out the funds, will Amazon.co.uk tell the bank what I have ordered and will Amazon.co.uk find out my age off the bank etc???

I looked on the Amazon.co.uk website and it says if children purchases products off their website, they must have a parents/guardians permission, which I have.

Best answer gets 10 points!

Thank you

It’s not the parents ‘permission’ you need. That covers their ‘permission’ to buy things from Amazon to start with.

What they mean is that by ordering anything age restricted you certify you are over the age of 18.

This is the wording from Amazon’s UK www site:

"Certain items available on Amazon.co.uk are age restricted. By placing an order for one of these items you are declaring that you are 18 years of age or over. These items must be used responsibly and appropriately".

By ordering them, you have told Amazon you are 18 or over.so you are responsible for any legal problems. When Amazon will contact your bank, they will simply transfer the amount due to Amazon.

If you bought anything from a retailer face to face that was age restricted, they (by law) have to ask for ID (passport, ID card, driving license etc).

They can’t find out your age from anyone else. They can’t ask your bank, they won’t tell the bank what youv’e ordered.
